Flames of Passion

I cannot stand in judgment for I, myself, have sinned,
But I feel so your pain so strongly that I feel I must defend.
My pain ignites a flame inside, that cannot be contained
and sometimes hurts the ones around me, the passion of my pain.
This pain has left my life in ashes, my mind a mental mess,
the thought of love a bitter taste, my heart put to the test.
But though your eyes I see a light, hope of a brighter day
Maybe you could teach me , show me loves true way.
