Passion is a good thing to live for, passion is life. Life is passion, a passion to make oneself true. True to passion sets you free to enjoy life no matter what stands in your way. My passion is to overcome what is making me to become very Disable both through mind and body. Diabetes had it's passion upon me and I am taking everyone of it's curve ball it has thrown at me. From Peripheral Neuropathy which is: a disease or degenerative state of the peripheral nerves in which motor, sensory, or vasomotor nerve fibers may be affected and which is marked by muscle weakness and atrophy, pain, and numbness. It has taken both of my feet on up to my knees and with my right knee to my hip. It is both hands in the ring fingers and pinky's. Diabetes is trying to take my eye sight as well with Diabetes Cataracts and Diabetes Retinopathy. On Friday, July 18, 2008 I was finally put on an Insulin Pump, my Blood Sugars are at a healthy range but at times it does try to go very low in the danger zone. This afternoon when my Son woke me up it was at 70, a Diabetic B.S.'s are only suppose to be around 125 to 75 not below that. For some odd reason since I have been put on the Pump, I have had 4 incidents of low B.S.'s, the first 3 made my heart quicken, body temperature falls to the point I feel like I am freezing and makes me shake violently. Back on March 23, 1990, I should have been put on the Pump immediately but the first expert I went to was a D.O. which is to say he isn't really a true Diabetic Doctor. Now who I am seeing is a Diabetic Doctor, about 7 to maybe 9 years ago we had tried to see if Medicaid would let me go on one but they said 'No' and now I am on it. I guess my some my 411 wasn't good for them to say yes then but this year they moved quickly, especially after having some of the problems that has occurred to my body. I refuse to never give up...
